ABSTRACT
The main objective of the study is to research the impact of cashless policy on the performance of selected money deposit banks in Nigeria. The final objectives square measures to: To establish the impact on cashless policy on how money deposit banks in Nigeria attend to customers, to also determine if cashless policy plays an important role in the profitability of money deposit banks in Nigeria, to understand if the implementation of a cashless policy influences the reduction of funds spent on printing paper currency and to determine the link between cashless policy and money deposit banks in Nigeria.
Findings from the study discovered that that (ATM) incorporates a positive and very important impact on return on assets (ROA) of banks in Nigeria whereas, POSV, WEBV and NIPV were found to possess a positive however insignificant impact on ROA of selected Deposit Money banks in Nigeria. The study terminated that E-banking product as a proxy for money less policy has positive impact on the money performance of selected Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria. It had been therefore counselled among others that bank management ought to pay additional attention on the activities which will improve the ATM services if they want to extend the return on assets (ROA).
The study recommends that government ought to make sure that effective preparation of data technology because of its experience since the technology with relative perceived advantage. Government ought to be able to give security both physically and electronically to see the incidence of hacking by fraudsters. The management deposit cash banks ought to from time to time train customers with reference to electronic banking edges, its risk exposure, physical and electronic
