Summary, etc ABSTRACT
A transcript is a document that summarizes a student's academic performance during his or her time at an institution of higher education. It's merely a copy of a student's academic record from a higher education institution. As a result, a transcript system is any system that manages a student's academic records. A transcript system is a student information management system that processes and manages academic information for students. Transcript handling has recently shifted from a manual to an automated approach. A management system that can enter and maintain results, as well as a mechanism that allows graduates to get transcripts from any internet-connected web browser.
This project focuses on building a transcript management and processing system using agile techniques of software development. Students can process their transcripts from the comfort of their own homes, regardless of where they are and the transcript will be generated.
The system was built using My SQL on the XAMPP server. The user interface for the transcript management and processing system were built using web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and other JavaScript libraries.
The findings from the project reveal that the administrator is in charge of the entire system's supervision role. The results also reveal that the system may be accessed by both the admin and HOD users by entering a username and password. The only way for a student to get into the system is to input his or her matriculation number and password. The findings also reveal that while both the HOD and student users can access outcomes, only the HOD user can amend and enter new ones.
The system is flexible and may be accessed through a web browser. It is reasonably safe, uses a relational database management system to assure data integrity, minimizes data redundancy, and is simple to use. This tool automates the processing of student results, which saves time and improves accuracy.
Keywords: Transcript, User Interface, Agile Technique, Web Technologies.
