Summary, etc ABSTRACT
Data security is one of the main features of distributed ledger technology (DLT). Each
node may store and verify the same data thanks to the technology. Web-based
certificate verification outperforms traditional certificate verification in that it boosts
data security thanks to the platform's encryption. Certificate verification systems are
tiny or medium-sized systems that may be used by school administration to manage
student certificates. However, it is costly and time-consuming to check certificates
using traditional methods. In this project, a digital method is introduced. It reduces the
strain and difficulty of the verification process, and certificate counterfeiting is
significantly decreased. This project introduces IOTA Smart Contracts, a distributed
ledger technology (DLT), and a multi-blockchain smart contract framework with the
ability to transact cross-chain in a trustful and scalable manner on the IOTA UTXO
ledger on layer 1. The main goal is to lessen manual verification techniques'
inconvenience and eradicate certificate forgers. I would recommend conducting
additional research into IOTA's Tangle based on my project-related experience
