ABSTRACT<br/><br/>In recent times, security has become a thing of utmost importance especially with recent developments in the country. Protection of lives and property is gradually turning into a facade. <br/>The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system is basically a well designed and integrated system that aims at improving security in a very verse and always evolving world through the use of machine learning. With recent outburst of vehicles on roads and private sectors monitoring of these vehicles have become very tedious and stressful, this is virtually because the traditional way by which vehicles were monitored before the creation of the ANPR were through surveillance cameras. This was really ineffective based on the fact that it had human factors meaning “Errors were inevitable”.<br/> |
