| Summary, etc | ABSTRACT<br/>The Online Counseling System is an app-based interface that links a therapist/counselor with a client/patient. The goal of this project is to develop a system to help individuals deduce the emotional intensity they are feeling by seeking counseling/therapy deprived of fear of being criticized. Additionally, to identify different counseling methods.<br/>To achieve this goal, it was essential to analyze and understand the workings of a counseling app. Android Studio and Figma were used to design and implement an online counseling system. SQLite was used as the database. The Online Counseling system was created to counter or to improve the traditional face-to-face method by acting as an interface for interaction and communication between the therapist and the client and secondly it reduces the stigma experienced in the face-to-face method. The online counseling system is an excellent improvement in offering counseling/therapy services. It is definite that it will be incorporated in our workplace, schools, companies and different extensions in our economy.<br/> |
