Summary, etc This study was based on the perceived influence of pornographic media content on university students’ social interactions. This study aimed to find out why students watch or view pornographic content, the factors responsible for students’ viewership of these materials or content, to determine the rate at which pornographic media content has influenced students' social interactions, and to also examine how students behave or react to these explicit materials. In agreement with the objectives of this study, the instrument of data collection used was a structured questionnaire, distributed to a sample size of 319. The data gathered was analyzed and presented using tables. The result from the data analysis showed that students get sexually explicit materials from different areas or sources. Data showed that students obtain these materials from movies, TV shows, and magazines. They also get it from family, friends, and school colleagues. These materials are also available by visiting the website and creating an account with the website. This research, therefore recommends that students should be enlightened on what addiction does to a person, counseling classes or sessions should be provided for students who seek help towards it. The dangers and hazards attached to rape and its element should be made known to all students and further studies should be conducted on this research topic.
