Summary, etc This research work examines Monetary Policy and Foreign Trade Performance in Nigeria. The research made use of secondary data which are collected from the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin. The data were collected for the period of forty years (1980-2020). The study employed quantitative analysis approach. Money Supply, Interest Rate, Exchange Rate, Inflationary Ratio, and Liquidly Ratio were the variables deemed appropriate indicators for monetary policy. A multiple regression analysis model that is based on the assumed functional relationship between monetary policies and foreign trade in Nigeria serves as the primary analytical tool. A multiple regression model was designed to create a connection between the variable sets, using foreign trade as the explanatory variable and the others as the explanatory variables. With the help of ordinary least squares (OLS) techniques, the model was estimated, and it was then assessed using pertinent information from the results of the regression. There was no first order serial correlation in the explanatory variable, and the model also demonstrated good explanatory power. Based on the research's findings, it was concluded that there was a clear-cut and obvious link between Nigeria's monetary policy and its performance in international trade. It was therefore advised that deliberate efforts be made to fine-tune the various monetary variables in order to create a conducive environment for international trade. Key words: Monetary policy, Foreign Trade, Economic Growth.
