This study presents an empirical investigation of the green business practices and performances of manufacturing companies in Nigeria. The study was guided by specific objectives, from which appropriate research question and hypothesis were <br/>formulate which includes: To determine the effects of green business practices on the operational performance, financial performance and customer satisfaction of manufacturing firms in Ogun state, Nigeria. This study adopted the descriptive survey <br/>design. Simple random sampling technique was used in selecting the 3 manufacturing firms in Nigeria. A sample size of 120 respondents was determined from the population of over 2000 drawn from manager, supervisors,senior staff and junior <br/>staff. The questionnaire was structured on 5-point Likert scale. The instrument was checked for reliability using test re-test method through Cronbach alpha, with a value of 0.906, which shows consistency in the items of survey. Data were analyzed and the <br/>hypotheses were tested using linear regression analysis. Findings revealed that green business practices had statistically significant and positive effect on the perfromances of manufacturing companies(r =2.116; F =114.449 ; T =23.438 ; p =.000).. In <br/>conclusion, manufacturing firms that actively adopt green business practices,tend to demonstrate better environmental performance.
