By: SENGE, Samuel OluwapelumiMaterial type: TextTextPublisher: Ibafo Computer Science and Mathematics 2020Edition: Dr. AKINYEMI, I. ODescription: xi,; 112p. dia, tablesSubject(s): Computer ScienceSummary: It has been studied and concluded that learning can be more fun and of better value outside the four walls of a classroom. With software such as the E-Learning Management System, A learning management system is intended to promote the management of the corporate e-learning programs of an organization. The E-Learning Management System (LMS) has been implemented by several universities to facilitate teaching and learning processes. Most E-Learning management system applications allow for student registration, the delivery and tracking of e-learning courses and content, testing and examinations on the platform also. they may also allow for the management of instructor-led training classes. Students can now acquire knowledge in the comfort of their rooms, places of residence and other locations of convenience. Problems encountered by students involve inaccessibility to course materials and the lecturers. Our main objective is to develop a system that will provide a well-organized mechanism of delivering courses and lecture-related materials online, create a flexible option of obtaining materials, taking quizzes anywhere at any time and provide an easier platform for student-lecturer relationship and easy dissemination of information and lecture materials. To build the E-learning management system, a structured methodology will be selected, the structured design methodology adopts a systematic step-by - step approach to the life cycle of system creation that moves logically from one stage to the next. The methodology used involved system analysis, system design, system development, and system testing. The system design will be achieved using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascade Style Sheet (CSS) along with bootstrap to style the HTML contents and create more responsiveness to ensure its scalability across various screen sizes. JavaScript will also be used to create dynamically updating content, control multimedia & moving images and interactivity of the user interface for the frontend and PHP and MySQL for backend design.
