A census technique was used to study 251 members of staff of mountain top university in which a structured questionnaire served as the instrument for data collection. The findings reveal that employee relations among Mountain Top University staff during COVID-19 lockdown showed that employees of the University were dully cared for and catered for with a high number of respondents attested that they were provided timely help, given timely information. Concerning how productive were Mountain Top University staff during the COVID-19 Lockdown in Nigeria, a large number of respondents indicated that they were productive as there was some form of change through the use of information and communication technology. As regards the most used platform on which the employees used to perform their work, the majority of the respondents picked Whatsapp and zoom. On the challenges faced by employees during the Lockdown, majority of the respondent agree that network and internet problems were what they faced the most as compared to the few that said they did not have any challenges at all. The study also recommends that understanding what employees want and need in order to be happy at work is the key to employee satisfaction. Employees need a few compliments now and then to let them know they've done a good job in order for them to do more and be productive.
