A REVIEW OF F-CONTRACTION MAPPING ON METRIC SPACES

By: ADEYEMI TIJESUNIMI ABRAHAMMaterial type: TextTextPublisher: Ibafo Computer Science and Mathematics 2021Edition: Matthew O. Adewole, PhDDescription: vii,; 60pSubject(s): Computer ScienceSummary: It is well-known that the Banach contraction principle has been extended, generalised and improved by researchers in this area of mathematics. In particular, one of the generalisation of the Banach contraction principle is the F-contraction mapping. In this project, we review the concept of F-contraction and Suzuki F-contraction in the frame work of complete metric spaces. We also gave some applications and examples to validate the applicability of our main results.
