This paper presents the development of a hostel allocation system using fuzzy logic. The system aims to assign students to rooms based on their personality types and preferences, while also taking into account the availability of rooms and the number of
students in each room. The system was implemented using C# and .NET Core Framework.The results of the system showed that it was able to assign students to rooms that were suitable for their personality types and preferences. The system was also able to takeinto account the availability of rooms and the number of students in each room. The system was found to be effective in assigning students to suitable rooms, while also ensuring that the rooms were not overcrowded.The system is a valuable tool for hostel management. It can help to improve the satisfaction of students, ensure that students are assigned to suitable rooms, and
facilitate head counts.
