The population of the study comprised the entire staff of Strategic Business Units (SBU) and Corporate Service Unit (CSU) of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation. The sample for the study was given as 367. Out of the 200 questionnaires administered to the participants only 186 were returned while 14 were not returned. The study was analyzed using of tables and percentage while the three hypothesis were tested the result from the research showed influence of strategic human resource management has positive effect Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation. Strategic Human Resources Management has a focused tone with the purpose of implementing strategic change and growing the skill base of the organization to ensure that the organization can have a competitive advantage in the near time and create efficiency on organizational decision making process.
