This study focused on the Effect of Financial Literacy Programs on the Financial Knowledge of tertiary institutions students taking Mountain Top University as its casestudy. The aim of this research is to measure the financial knowledge of the students based on finacial literacy programs organised in the university and it was centered on the Mountain Top University Students due to limited research in Nigeria and its unique segment of youth population as youths make up a large percentage of the countr’y population. The Research Design adopted for this study is Crosssectional research design under Survey Research as the study is a quatitative research and a total of 328 questionnaire was administered to students across all level and faculty of study as the instrument used to collect data. The result was derived through variable analysis and ANOVA was used to test the hypothesis. The result shows that there is a strong and positive relationship between financial literacy programs and knowledge of university students however, The study recommends an increase and improvement in the content and delivery of financial literacy programs and encouragement of students participation in the programs.
