In order to achieve its aim, a database for storing patients’ information was created and an online interface for recording and display of information was designed. The developed web based electronic health record system was then implemented. The EHR developed was able to store patient information, as well as handle online customer registration and booking and cancellation. It also allowed the administrator to modify the records of patients’ and staff information that are within the institution. The EHR is very useful and is a good upgrade from the previous system. It is recommended that the system is improved upon to increase the scope and productivity of the system.
