To accomplish the research objectives, the study adopted the survey research design while the convenience sampling technique was used to select ninety six (96) respondents as sample size for the study. Instrument of the study was self-developed questionnaire and copies were personally administered. Hypotheses were formulated to guide the study and data were analyzed using regression analysis by SPSS version 23.0. The findings from the simple regression revealed that management control system has significant effect on employees’ performance as well as revenue of the targeted firm. However, management control system does not significantly affect the efficiency and market share of the firm. This study concluded that management control system is an important driver of organizational performance, particular, employees’ performance and revenue. The following recommendations were made based on the findings of the study: Firms should employ management control system in order to enhance their level of effectiveness. Firms should employ management control system in order to improve their revenue. Firms should employ management control system in order to enhance the overall performance of the firm.
