520 _aCybercrime is characterized as a crime committed with the assistance of a computer device. The aim of the study is to determine the effect of Cybercrime on Customer E-banking Satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic in Lagos, Nigeria. The study adopted a survey research design using Z-score to determine sample size for an unknown population, a sample size of 384 was determined. However, due to time constraint and availability of respondents, 150 questionnaires was distributed and 130 retrieved. The data obtained was analysed using the descriptive, regression and correlation analysis of SPSS 26.0 statistical tools. The output of the analysis revealed that that the use of e-banking has been cost and time effective has a t-coefficient of -2.347 with p-value =0.021<0.05 and that huge losses emanated from cybercrime activities through the use of e-banking most especially during the pandemic period with t-coefficient of 1.718 with p-value =0.089>0.05. Also, the new corona virus themed hacking, scams are leveraging fear, hooking vulnerable people and taking advantage of workplace disruption has t-coefficient of 2.250 with the p-value = 0.026<0.05. From the correlation analysis conducted, the statement that COVID-19 pandemic has led to increase rate of cybercrime activities has p-value of 0.000<0.05. Also, the COVID-19 pandemic is thought to have almost doubled the number of cybercrime and assaults has p-value of 0.000<0.5 and that cybercriminals have used COVID-19 pandemic period to expand upon their attacks, which also preys on the heightened stress, anxiety and worry facing individuals has p-value of 0.000<0.05. The COVID-19 crisis provides favourable environment for financial crime has p-value of 0.000<0.05, which an indication that the statements are statistically significant at 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, study recommended that there should be a strong act to protect e-banking customers that uses electronic banking and payment platform in banking industry. Also, any person who knowingly or intentionally engages in computer phishing should be liable upon conviction to 3 years imprisonment or a fine of N1, 000,000.00 or both according to Section 58 of the Cybercrimes Act.
