520 | _aABSTRACT Background: Transactions with maximum security will be necessary for a large of commercial use of the internet. Recently payment methods follow the thread of the following models which are secured credit card transactions, credit-debit, and electronic currency. The listed payment models have merits and demerits concerning requirements of reliability, scalability, anonymity, acceptability, convertibility, ease of integration with applications, and ease of use for stakeholders or end-users. Objectives: This paper explores the enhancement of online payments system in Nigeria (INTERSWITCH & E-TRANZACT) institutions and additional proposed features to be implemented for the enhancement of our newly innovated technologies. Methodology: Intensive research was made by downloading books and online research to talk about the pros and cons of the widely known payment systems used I Nigeria today, especially in institutions. Result: The Payment model involving crypto and multiple currencies as well as savings and transferring funds from one online wallet to another, just made life easier for parents or individuals willing to make payment at any point in time. Conclusion: all intended implementations were attained effectively.
