520 | _aABSTRACT Companies have used corporate social responsibility to maintain mutually beneficial relationship with the community in which they operate so that they can be seen in the society, community and among their employee as corporate citizen. it is important to know the benefit of corporate social responsibility and the advantage that it comes with for an organization. Corporate social responsibility when effectively and rightly done can be used to build trust and hearts of community members and in turn benefit the organization greatly. Therefore, this research seeks to explore corporate social responsibility as a tool for industrial harmony. It seeks to examine factors that strengthens corporate social responsibility activities as a tool of industrial harmony and its impact on performance. The study made use of questionnaire to collect data from three hundred and twenty respondents who were sampled using the convenience sampling technique. The collected data was analysed and the results presented through tables, frequencies and percentages. The findings of the study revealed that there is the inclusion of everyone when CSR activities are conducted by the school. A sign of unity and oneness is created and shown by every party who is involved during the implementation and planning of corporate social responsibility activities. The study recommended that corporate social responsibility should be a continuous project and activity that is well-planned and implemented by the institution towards its community to build unity and keep everyone satisfied.
